The financial calculator is an app that is used to calculate various financial calculations using options available in Mutual Funds and various Government Schemes of India.
Some of the key calculations of the app are:
Mutual Fund Calculators:
1) SIP Calculator - SIP is an investment option offered by mutual funds to investors, allowing them to invest small amount periodically instead of lump sums.
2) SWP Calculator - SWP allows you to withdraw a certain amount of money at a regular interval from your initial investment.
3) STP Calculator - Under the mutual fund, a lump sum amount you invested in one scheme can be transferred at regular intervals systematically into another mutual fund scheme of the same mutual fund house is called Systematic Transfer Plan (STP).
Bank Calculators / Finance and Investment Calculator
1) Simple Interest is calculated on the principal amount. It can be applied over a time period usually every month.
2) Compound Interest is the interest earned on the interest which was very previously accumulated. It is the result of reinvesting interest.
3) Calculate Compound Annual Growth (CAGR) Calculator is a useful tool to determine an annual growth rate on an investment over a period of time under fluctuated value.
4) Rule of 72 - It is used to determine the investment time period for a given rate of interest.
5) Percentage - Here, you will be able to calculate Percentage Amount, Percentage gain, Original Amount, Percentage Increase / Decrease in the amount invested.
6) Fixed Deposits (FD) Calculator - It is an investment option offered by banks and non-banking financial companies, where you can deposit money for a higher rate of interest than savings accounts.
7) CII Calculator - Capital gains arise when you sell a capital asset for an amount that is more than what you paid for it. Capital assets can be investment products like mutual funds, stocks or any real estate product like land, house etc.
Retirement Calculators
1) Atal Pension Yojana (APY) / Atal Pension Scheme (APS) Calculator - It is a government-backed pension scheme in India. It provides guaranteed pension ranging from Rs.1000 to Rs. 500 per month. It is administered by the PFRDA.
2) Gratuity Calculator - Gratuity is the amount of money which an employer pays to his employee in return for services offered by him to the company. Only those employees who have been employed in the company for five years or more than five years are given a gratuity.
Post Office Calculators
1) Kisan Vikas Patra is a certificate scheme from the Indian Post Office, where it doubles a one-time investment in a period of approximately 9 years & 4 months.
2) Monthly income schemes (MIS) Calculator - It is term deposits with monthly interest gain.
3) Recurring Deposit (RD) Calculator - It is used to calculate the maturity amount for given fixed deposit monthly deposits. It is also used to calculate monthly installment amount or time period for which you need to do investment.
4) Public Provident Fund (PPF) is a tax saving scheme in India by Central Government.
